I am actually planning to do a video on that, but I do think that I do not have enough experiences to share. Hahahaha
Communication is key :) Sounds cliche but it really works. Update each other on skype, text, facebook etc. Also try to see each other once in a while. I was on a long distance relationship with my boyfriend for a year and a half, and pretty much there were a lot of bumps. One thing that I learned from that experience was that, when there are conflicts, do settle it face to face, because talking about difficult stuff over the net or cellphone could distort the essence of the message that both of you are trying to say. Yes, there were times that I felt like giving up, because it was soooo hard, there was a lot of emotions involved when you are doing the LDR, because you feel like you are missing out on his life, missing him etc. But you must be able to weigh whether all the sacrifices are worth it.
Hey there! I study in UP Manila :) likewise, I felt that surviving in UP is hard like hell. I am a graduate now, and very proud to say that I survived. Stress cannot be prevented really, we just have to deal with it. I managed my stress by giving myself a day off. Like I step out of my studying zone, and just do the things that I like, like watching a movie, drinking out with friends, or even catch up on lost sleep. I have this belief that when I give myself some breathing room, my energy and sense of doing things comes back :) Stress is really hard, and there were times that I was crying while finishing a presentation. I guess the most important thing is for you to just keep going, and think that all thing would pass eventually. Also manage your time well. I do cram a lot, but at times that I do things ahead, it feels so much better, and I have more time to do non academic related stuff. Lastly, for your hard subject? You just have to do everything that you can. I am veeeeery poor in math, and I struggled with math related subjects during my stay in UP. So I just studied and focused on that subject. I increased the studying time on that subject, joined group studies, and also consulted with my professor. Hope this was helpful, and good luck!
